  • ronette – “I love hamleys! The ground floor is my favourite because there are thousands of stuffed toys. You can buy every kind of animal in the world, in all sizes. Monkeys, crocodiles, elephants, whales, worms, cats and dogs. And that's before you get onto winnie the pooh, mickey mouse, Paddington bear, bagpuss.. There is literally everything that you could imagine. A whole zoo of stuffed toys. I know that I am too old to like these things, but that is why we have kids. So we can buy all these things that we secretly still like!”
  • ian meyer – “I went into hamleys the other day for the first time ever, to buy my niece a birthday present. I know I’m probably too old to admit it, but I thought it was pretty good. I didn't get past the first floor, but they must have every kind of stuffed toy in there of every animal that you can imagine. They've got a whole zoo of stuffed toys. Monkeys, elephants, polar bears, cats, dogs, rats, fish, gorillas, snakes, giraffes.. You name it, they';ve got it. I ended up buying some hand puppets of a big wolf that stretch all the way down your arm.”
