Got a question about Abbey Road?

  • londonlover – “Im not the biggest beatles fan in the world and would never bother going to abbey road if I hadnt already been in the area, but I must say that I was completely underwhelmed. I obviously know the album cover (who doesn't?) And was looking out for the zebra crossing but I wouldn't have been sure that it was the right one unless someone hadn't pointed it out to me. The problem is that the album cover looks like a nice quiet, leafy residental street, but the crossing is actually near main busy road. If you look one way up the street it looks like the album cover, but if you look the other way it looks nothing like it. And trying to get a nice shot of yourself Marching across is impossible because one person has to stand a few foot away in the road, and its a busy road!”
