Getting to Luton airport

Thameslink: Thameslink operate a normal overland train between Central London and Luton, stopping at King’s Cross, Farringdon, City, Blackfriars and London Bridge. The journey takes around 30 to 40 minutes, whereupon you will need to get an 8-minute shuttle bus to the airport. Telephone 0845 748 4950, or visit thameslinkrailway.com for details.

Green Line Bus: Green Line operates the 757 bus to London Luton from Buckingham Palace Road, close to Victoria train station. The journey takes around an hour, and operates every half-hour between 9.30AM and 8PM. Hourly services operate from 8PM to midnight. Telephone 0870 608 7261, or visit greenline.co.uk for details.

Taxi-cab: A taxi into central London takes about 60-75 minutes, and will cost in the region of £100–£130.

Car: If you’re planning on driving to Luton airport down the M1 and parking in the car-park, then you should get off at junction 10.
