Getting there

Thameslink: Trains run from the airport to central London stopping at King’s Cross, Farringdon, City Thameslink, Blackfriars and London Bridge. The journey takes around 30-40 mins, followed by an 8-minute shuttle bus to the airport. Tel 0845 748 4950, or visit thameslinkrailway.com for details.

Green Line Bus: Green Line runs the 757 bus from Buckingham Palace Road (close to Victoria train station). The journey takes around an hour and runs every half-hour between 9.30AM and 8PM. Hourly services run from 8PM to midnight. Telephone 0870 608 7261, or visit greenline.co.uk for details.

Taxi-cab: A taxi into central London takes about 60-75 minutes, and will cost in the region of £100–£130.

Car: If you’re planning on driving down the M1 then you should get off at junction 10.
