Hello, my boss is traveling to London on April 27th and he needs to get from London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 to Northampton. I've been online trying to figure out if he takes "The Tube" or a train. One of our employees said he should take Tube from Heathrow to London and then a train to Northampton b/c it'll be less walking. I can't find any place that says you can take the Tube from Terminal 5; all I can find is the Heathrow Express and I don't think that's a Tube. Please advise. Thanks.

that's right, the Heathrow Express is an overground train -- but it only goes to Paddington. So you'd then have to catch another tube train to Euston, because that's where the trains to Northampton leave from (you can look that up on the National Rail website)
Or you could get a tube train from Terminal 5 (terminal 5 has its own underground station). but the piccadilly line doesn't go to Euston either. You can either change tube trains at King's Cross and catch the Victoria line back to Euston, or you can just walk to Euston from King's Cross, because it's only about ten minutes on foot (and it's a straight road as well, so it's very easy)
