Can you offer possum15 some help with this itinerary? Why not post a reply?

it depends which ones you want to go inside, rather than just walk past and take a photo.
the tower of london and yeoman warder will take 2 hours minimum — and that is very rushed (very, very rushed!). the yeoman warder tours takes an hour, but it doesnt go inside any of the towers, so you have to go back round afterwards to see inside the white tower, bloody tower and crown jewels. i would prefer 3 hours, if it was me.
dont go inside tower bridge, its not worth it. you can take photos of it from the the tower of london.
so let's say thats take you up to about noon. then you can make your way to st. pauls, and spend an hour and a half there (including climbing up the domes — you dont want to miss that). so with the travel time, that might take you up to 2 PM.
you could then get the bus down to trafalgar square and walk down whitehall to parliament square, doing all the photos of nelsons column, downing street and big ben etc. buckingham palace would be a 30 minute detour (10-15 walk up The Mall, take photos, and then 10-15 min walk back)
doing all of that will probably take you up to about 4 PM. you will probably already be too late to get inside Westminster Abbey. maybe you could have a quick hour in the british museum, but i dont reckon that is worth it. If you've really got your heart set on seeing inside westminster abbey maybe you could stick around for the choral service at 5PM (https://www.londondrum.com/events/?p=22893). That has the advantage of being free (you would have spent quite a lot of money up until this point! But I think the best thing to do would be to walk across westminster bridge and have a go on the London Eye, because that stays open quite late. Remember to book tickets in advance though, or you could waste another 30-60 minutes in the queue
...but doing the tower of london, st pauls and the London Eye in one day would be a good day. i always advise people not to try and cram in too much stuff, because it will just ruin the other stuff, rushing around them with one eye on the clock.
