Jakub Hrusa will be conducting the Philharmonia Orchestra and Chorus in a performance of Gustav Mahler's Symphony No.2 (Resurrection), with soprano Joelle Harvey and mezzo-soprano Jennifer Johnston.
The Philharmonia Orchestra is based at the Royal Festival Hall. Widely regarded as one of the world’s great orchestras, they have an extraordinary recorded legacy.
The Philharmonia Chorus consists of up to 150 singers, and is based in London. It performs everything from baroque to contemporary works, and works closely with the Philharmonia Orchestra and other orchestras of similar standing.
