Vladimir Jurowski will be conducting a performance of Wagner's Siegfried at the Royal Festival Hall.

The music will be peformed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra with Torsten Kerl as Siegfried, Evgeny Nikitin as The Wanderer, Elena Pankratova as Brunnhilde, Adrian Thompson as Mime, Robert Hayward as Alberich, Brindley Sherratt as Fafner, Patricia Bardon as Erda, and Alina Adamski as the Voice of the Forest Bird.

Performers:

Russian conductor Vladimir Jurowski has held many prestigious roles, including spots with the Russian National Orchestra, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, and the Glyndebourne Festival Opera. The last few years have seen him work closely with the London Philharmonic.

The London Philharmonic Orchestra was founded by Sir Thomas Beecham, and has been based at London’s Royal Festival Hall ever since its opening in 1951. It is also the resident symphony orchestra of the Glyndebourne Festival Opera.
