Esa-Pekka Salonen will be conducting soprano Angela Denoke and the Philharmonia Orchestra in a selection of classical works by Berg, Hindemith, Shostakovich and Weill at the Royal Festival Hall.

Performers:

Finnish conductor Esa-Pekka Salonen’s started his career with the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and Los Angeles Philharmonic. He is now Principal Conductor of the Philharmonia Orchestra, and has composed several major orchestral pieces.

The Philharmonia Orchestra is based at the Royal Festival Hall. Widely regarded as one of the world’s great orchestras, they have an extraordinary recorded legacy.
