Arthur Smith's new show attracted critical acclaim when it opened at the Edinburgh Fringe last year, and now he's back in the West End for a two-week run at the Soho Theatre.

It tells the story of Arthur's own real-life father, Syd, an ordinary man who lived through extraordinary times. Having fought at El Alamein he became a prisoner of war, and then ended up in the notorious Colditz Castle. Ten years later Syd was a policeman patrolling the South Bank, and met a gallery of characters whom he tried his best not to arrest.

The show is an hour of nostalgia told with love, laughter and song (and a hilarious photo!).
