Seeing as it's summer, and it's hopefully going to be hot (crossed-fingers), how about watching a blockbuster movie at Kensington Palace? They're putting an outdoor cinema screen outside the front giving you a fantastic backdrop.

Tonight's movie is the Oscar nominated performance film A Star Is Born (15, 136 mins), which tells the story of a hard-drinking musician (Bradley Cooper) who discovers a young singer (Lady Gaga).

Note: Admission to Kensington Palace is not included. There is limited seating capacity so advanced booking is definitely recommended. Premium tickets come with a complimentary drink at the bar and a better seating position. Bear in mind that screenings will still go ahead even if there's bad weather, so be prepared for a bit of drizzle and cold.

You can always rate a palace by the fame of the names who… continued”
