Sir Ian McKellan has been celebrating his 80th birthday year with a special solo show that's been touring all over the country.

The show will be a mixture of anecdotes and acting, covering some of the most memorable characters from his long and distinguished career. He's promising to do a bit of Gandalf, plenty of Shakespeare... and there might even be an invitation for someone to act with him on stage!
