How about watching a movie on a big outdoor cinema screen at Hampton Court? The screen will be situated on the East Front Lawn with Henry VIII's Tudor palace as the floodlit backdrop. You'll also have to time to walk around some of the gardens beforehand (although entry to the palace itself is not included).

Tonight's movie is the follow-up to Abba's original musical movie, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again (PG, 106 mins), featuring a starry ensemble cast including Dominic Cooper, Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, Amanda Seyfried, Stellan Skarsgard, Lily James, Julie Walters, Meryl Streep, Cher... and more!

Note: There's limited seating capacity so advanced booking is recommended. You also need to bring your own blanket to sit on (or you can pre-order one when you book). Premium tickets include a complimentary drink at the bar and a better seating position. Bear in mind that screenings usually go ahead in bad weather, so be prepared for a bit of drizzle and cold. (This is London, after all, and summer is no guarantee of warm weather!)
