The Hampton Court Palace Festival has another fantastic line-up, set against the backdrop of the Tudor Base Court.

Chic are best known for their big hit Le Freak (you definitely know it, even if you don't know you know it). They've been undergoing a bit of a renaissance during the last few years on the back of Le Freak being given a belated Grammy and working with Daft Punk. If you arrive early then you'll be able to enjoy some pre-show food in the East Front Gardens (from 5.30 PM). They'll be plenty of street food stalls and open-air bars around the waterside gazebos. You can even buy yourself a Fortnum & Mason picnic hamper filled with seasonal ingredients from Fortnum's famous Food Halls.
