You shall go to the ball...

This year's Christmas panto at the Lyric Hammersmith is Cinderella -- the classic rags to riches tale that proves a new pair of shoes really can change your life.

Cinderella's life is one of drudgery and hardship (a bit like mine), being bullied and mis-treated by her ugly sisters (still a bit like mine)... until her fairy Godmother turns a pumpkin into a coach and leads her to her Prince Charming (okay... so maybe it's not quite like mine).

With plenty of knockabout comedy and musical numbers, Cinderella promises to be the perfect family treat.
