The Globe Theatre is #10 in our London Bucket List

Director: Brendan O'Hea; Written by: William Shakespeare; Cast: (the cast may change on different dates) Colin Campbell, Sarah Case, Mark Desebrock, Andrew Edwards, Andrius Gaucas, Beau Holland, Glynn MacDonald, Natasha Magigi, Isabel Marr, Mogali Masuku, Evelyn Miller, Eric Sirakian

William Shakespeare's rollicking farce The Comedy of Errors makes a welcome return to the Globe Theatre.

In this witty merry-go-round of mistaken identity two sets of estranged twins find themselves wandering through the streets of the same town... two brothers and two slaves, all of whom were separated at sea.

The men are jealous, the women are furious... and there's a priceless gold trinket that everyone hopes will be theirs.

Note: the Globe's theatre season runs from April to October. Craig has been to watch a play at the Globe himself and thoroughly recommends it because it's not like any other theatre you've ever seen -- it's all open-air, for a start, and it has a standing area in the middle (called 'The Yard'). The actors sometimes parade through this yard during the scenes, and end up involving the crowd as if they were part of the cast. Read Craig's review of watching a play at the Globe before you go, so you can get a feeling for what it's like inside.
