It sounds crazy, but it's been six years since Rhod Gilbert last did a stand-up show. But now he's back with a full UK tour that takes in two nights at the Eventim Apollo.

He might have been off the stage for six years, but you'll still have seen plenty of him on your TV screen, guesting in everything from Would I Lie to You? and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown to The Apprentice's spin-off show.

Happily a lot of stuff has happened to Rhod since he last toured. For example, he met a bloke called John. The Book of John is raw, personal and brutally honest; there's no more lies, no more nonsense. This is Rhod, the same, but not.

Why not just come along and see for yourself.
