Joel Horwood has adapted Peter Strickland's darkly comic and subliminal horror film for the stage.

Gilderoy is in Italy, a long way from home, and his work as a sound designer for nature documentaries has not gone unnoticed. He's managed to swap the worktable in his garden shed for the glamour of the Berberian Sound Studio, but here, at the height of giallo horror, cabbages become corpses, and silence speaks louder than screams...
