Shalamar were one of the most successful soul groups of the 1970s and 80s, selling more than 25 million albums worldwide.

Early hits included Take That To The Bank and The Second Time Around before they really hit the big time with their Friends album, which spawned the single A Night to Remember.

Carolyn Griffey is now touring alongside two pf the original members, Jeffrey Daniel and Howard Hewitt, and is promising to play all of their biggest hits at the Aldwych Theatre.
