Did you know that there's a deserted underground station between Green Park and Hyde Park Corner?

It's called Down Street and was only in operation between 1907 and 1932. But during World War II it had a secret history as the bombproof headquarters of the Railway Executive Committee. It even played refuge to Winston Churchill during the height of the Blitz.
