Sir John Soane's Museum will be marking the end of their Architectural Drawing exhibition with an after-hours candlelit event.

You'll be able to explore the exhibition, listen to a curator's talk and — best of all — take part in a hands-on drawing workshop whilst sipping a glass of wine. You will even have the opportunity to take some photographs inside the museum — something that is normally forbidden.

The talks will focus on the museum's collection of architectural drawings, which include works by Piranesi, Gandy, Hawksmoor and Sir John Soane himself.

The drawing class will take place in the atmospheric kitchen and crypt, and focus on different etching, sketching and shading techniques. Visitors should bring their own sketchbooks.
