Here's a Christmas treat... how about watching a blockbuster movie at Kensington Palace? They're putting up a pavilion on the Orangery lawn and selling mulled wine, mince pies and hot chocolate to keep you warm.

Tonight's movie is Tim Burton's stop-motion classic The Nightmare Before Christmas (PG, 73 mins), which tells the story of what happened when Jack Skellington (the boss of Halloween) stumbled into Christmas Land and took it over.

Note: Admission to Kensington Palace is not included. There is limited seating capacity so advanced booking is definitely recommended. You can order a choice of seats from beanbags to comfy sofas.
