Here's a Christmas treat... how about watching a blockbuster movie at Kensington Palace? They're putting up a pavilion on the Orangery lawn and selling mulled wine, mince pies and hot chocolate to keep you warm.
Tonight's movie features a world-class line-up of Hollywood superstars including Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo, plus a bloke called Michael Caine (I've never heard of him). The Muppets Christmas Carol (U, 85 mins) is arguably the best-ever telling of the classic Christmas tale. It's certainly better than Charles Dickens' version, that is for sure.
Note: Admission to Kensington Palace is not included. There is limited seating capacity so advanced booking is definitely recommended. You can order a choice of seats from beanbags to comfy sofas.
