There's not a lot to do in London on Christmas Day. All the theatres, galleries and attractions are closed, so how about attending a church service at St. Paul's Cathedral instead? It will be a special experience even if you're not religious.
There are four different services to choose from:
8 AM to 8.30 AM -- Holy Communion
8.45 AM to 9.15 AM -- Morning Prayer
11 AM to 12.30 PM -- Eucharist with Christmas carols sung by the Cathedral Choir. This is the principal celebration on Christmas morning
3.15 PM to 4.15 PM -- Festal Evensong. A traditional service with Christmas carols sung by the Cathedral Choir
Note: Tickets are not required for any of these services, but you should be aware that space in the Cathedral is limited and you should try and arrive early to be sure of a place.

Skate around Canary Wharf’s ice rink – 2 Nov 2018 to 16 Feb 2019 – This ice rink sits in the shadow of the Canary Wharf skyscrapers, with an icy perimeter path made of fir trees and fairy lights.
