Watching a West End show is #15 in our London Bucket List

Director: Matthew Dunster; Written by: Sam Shepard; Cast: Kit Harington, Johnny Flynn

Game of Thrones star Kit Harington will be starring in the West End premiere of Sam Shepard's ferociously funny True West.

Set in the searing heat of the Californian desert, it follows the story of Austin as he's busy working on a film script that he's managed to sell to his producer. But then his brother Lee turns up and, unwilling to watch from the sidelines, starts pitching his own ideas as well.

The brothers end up in a fierce competition which tears them apart, exposing the cracks in the American Dream.

The Guardian – "Sam Shepard is contemporary American drama, True West is contemporary America"
