Director: Dianne Jackson; Written by: Raymond Briggs; Music and lyrics: Howard Blake

The Peacock Theatre will once again be bringing Raymond Briggs' much-loved children's book The Snowman to the stage, with a live orchestral performance of Walking In The Air.

It tells the story of young boy who builds a snowman... and watches it come to life on Christmas Eve. He then sets off on a night-time adventure, hand-in-hand with the Snowman as he flies through the sky, meeting everything from dancing penguins and reindeer, to Jack Frost and Father Christmas himself.

The Snowman's joyful combination of classic storytelling, wonderful music, and atmospheric lighting, continues to pack them in at the Peacock year after year. It's a perfect Christmas treat for all the family.

Sunday Express – "Utterly irresistible" The Independent – "The best kids show for Christmas by far!" The Guardian – "Guaranteed to melt the heart of even the most cynical Scrooge"
