Before Adam Kay became an award-winning comedian he used to be a junior doctor... and he kept a secret diary.

He turned his hilarious and sometimes absolutely terrifying experiences into a book, This Is Going To Hurt, toured it at the Edinburgh Fringe, and now he's bringing it to the Garrick Theatre for an hour of stand-up.

Signed copies of his book will be available to purchase at the end of the show.

Mail On Sunday★★★★★ – "Intersperses horror stories from the NHS frontline with a catalogue of sublimely silly spoof songs, and some blissfully brilliant wordplay"
