Director: Fiona Laird; Written by: William Shakespeare; Cast: (the cast may change on different dates) David Troughton

What do you get when you cross Shakespeare with reality TV and The Only Way Is Essex?... you get Fiona Laird's modern take on The Merry Wives of Windsor.

Sir John Falstaff is down on his luck and trying to hustle his way to a comfortable retirement by seducing the wives of two rich men. But unbeknownst to him, it's the women who are really in control, and are gleefully orchestrating his comeuppance amidst a smorgasbord of petty rivalries, jealousies and over-inflated egos.

Daily Telegraph★★★★ – "Where Shakespeare meets The Only Way Is Essex... a start to finish delight" The Times★★★★ – "Sir John Falstaff is played with stupendous chutzpah by David Troughton" Independant★★★★ – "Ablaze with energy... a delight"
