Performers:

Sir Mark ElderSir Mark Elder is the Music Director of Manchester’s Hallé Orchestra. He has also worked with the London Philharmonic Choir, English National Opera (ENO), BBC Symphony Orchestra and City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.

Kirill GersteinKirill Gerstein was a recipient of the prestigious Gilmore Artist Award for ‘extraordinary piano artistry’. He is currently a professor of piano at the Musikhochschule Stuttgart.

London Symphony OrchestraThe London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) is the resident orchestra of the Barbican Centre and is the oldest of London’s symphony orchestras. It was recently rated by Gramophone as one of the top five orchestras in the world.
