Gianandrea Noseda will be conducting the London Symphony Orchestra at Barbican Hall, with pianist Seong-Jin Cho.

They will be performing some classical music by Shostakovich and Rachmaninov and Balakirev.

Gianandrea NosedaGianandrea Noseda is a widely admired Italian conductor who has held the post of Principal Conductor with the BBC Philharmonic and Cadaqués Orchestra. He’s currently Music Director with the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington DC.

London Symphony OrchestraThe London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) is the resident orchestra of the Barbican Centre and is the oldest of London’s symphony orchestras. It was recently rated by Gramophone as one of the top five orchestras in the world.
