Dave Johns

Dave Johns was recently plucked from obscurity to appear in the title role of Ken Loach's new movie: I, Daniel Blake.

The movie became a beacon of social realism (albeit, Ken Loach's kind of social realism) and Dave suddenly found himself in Cannes, at the BAFTAs, chatting to Woody Allen in a lift, and accepting awards alongside some of Hollywood's most famous faces.

Now he's back doing what he loves best -- making people laugh.
