Trafalgar Square will once again be celebrating Diwali -- the beautiful 'Festival of Lights'.

Diwali is one of the most important religious occasions for Hindus, Sikhs and Jains and is celebrated by many communities throughout the capital. It represents the victory of good over evil, light over darkness, and knowledge over ignorance. But in London it represents light -- and lots of it!

There will be plenty of free music and dancing on the stage, delicious food and drink to buy, and some peaceful prayers and a traditional lamp lighting at the end of the evening.
