Donnie Darko

Film4 will be showing an open-air movie on their 'Summer Screen' at Somerset House. It will be situated in the courtyard (where the jumping fountains are).

Tonight's movie is actually a double bill -- a very scary double-bill! First up is Jake Gyllenhaal as Donnie Darko (15), a troubled teenager who believes that his actions will lead to the end of the world. That will be followed by another troubled kid: the terrifying Damien in The Omen (15).

Note: There will be no fixed seating in the courtyard, so bring your own rugs, blankets and cushions. Chairs, inflatables and portable furniture are not allowed. The screenings will go ahead come rain or shine -- so be prepared for drizzle! Food and drink will be available to buy onsite.
