Hamilton was an absolute sensation on Broadway. It's a story about one of America's Founding Fathers but set against a soundtrack of jazz, rap, R&B, hip-hop and blues. It's the story of America then, but told by the America of now.

Alexander Hamilton was a young immigrant who went from being a lowly orphan to George Washington's right hand man -- a journey which saw him change from a rebel into a fully-fledged war hero. Along the way he got entangled in the country's first-ever sex scandal, and was saddled with the difficult task of making an untrusting world believe in the American economy.

It's a revolutionary tale that introduces us to real-life characters like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Hamilton's lifelong friend and foe, Aaron Burr.
