Simon Thurley

Simon Thurley is a leading authority on Tudor royal palaces and the former Chief Executive of English Heritage.

He has just released a good book called 'The Tudor Houses of Power' and for this talk he will be focusing on just one of them: Windsor Castle.

He'll examine the additions and innovations made to the building from the reign of Henry VII onwards, when new levels of luxury were added to enhance the Castle's role as a place of entertainment for the court and distinguished visitors.

The lecture will end with a complimentary glass of wine.
