Roy Strong

Roy Strong has been at the forefront of the arts for more than three decades, first as director of the National Portrait Gallery, and then at the Victoria & Albert Museum. Following that he became a broadcaster, historian and author.

Tonight's event will see him talking to the current director of the V&A, Tristram Hunt, discussing his post-museum life, and publication of his critically-acclaimed diaries: Scenes and Apparitions: 1988–2003 and Splendours and Miseries: 1967-87.
