Simon Thurley

What was it like to live as a royal Tudor?

Join historian Simon Thurley for a talk about the Tudor's 'Houses of Power' and discover why they built them as they did, and what went on inside the palace walls.

He'll discuss the monarchs who built them, the builders who created them, and dip into their private lives, their politics, and the diplomacy at the court.

Note: the talk will take place inside the Lydia and Manfred Gorvy Lecture Theatre at the V&A Museum.
