The Mentor is a perceptive comedy the world of art and artists, and tells the story of a cantankerous old writer called Benjamin Rubin, still clinging to the reflected glory of his long-ago success.

When a rising young literary star is given the chance to work on his new play under the mentorship of his idol, the scene is set for a massive clash of egos.
