Labour Of Love

Director: Jeremy Herrin; Written by: James Graham; Cast: (the cast may change on different dates) Martin Freeman, Sarah Lancashire

Martin 'Bilbo Baggins' Freeman will be taking on the role of Labour MP David Lyons in James Graham's razor-sharp new play.

He cares deeply about modernisation and electability... whilst his constituency agent cares more about principles and her community. Now he's away from Westminster and back in the party's heartlands he comes up against a clash of philosophy, culture and class.

The play explores the evolution of the Labour Party over the last 25 years, as it moved from Kinnock through Blair and into Corbyn.
