Distant Worlds Final Fantasy

Can you believe it's been thirty years since the first Final Fantasy came out?

To celebrate it's anniversary a new orchestral concert is coming to Royal Albert Hall, featuring many of Nobuo Uematsu's best tunes from the Japanese video game -- right up to the recently released Final Fantasy XV.

The music will be performed by the Maida Vale Singers and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and will be accompanied by some big images on the video screen.

The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) was founded by Thomas Beecham in 1946. Subsequent principal conductors have included the great André Previn and Vladimir Ashkenazy.
