John Rutter will be back at the Royal Albert Hall with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and his ever-popular Christmas Celebration concert.
The show features choral pieces and orchestral works suited to the season, plus plenty of sing-a-long Christmas carols for the audience... so don't forget to bring your singing voice! It doesn't matter if you can't sing because there will be so many people belting it out at the same time that no one will notice anyway.
And just think... afterwards you can go home and tell everybody that you sang at the Royal Albert Hall!
John Rutter is a British conductor, composer and arranger of mainly choral pieces. He has written many religious works, including a recent piece for the wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton.
The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) was founded by Thomas Beecham in 1946. Subsequent principal conductors have included the great André Previn and Vladimir Ashkenazy.
