The Classical Spectacular is back at the Royal Albert Hall and promises to give classical music a bit of... oomph!

The show will feature a state of the art lighting rig and multicoloured laser displays to flood the bombastic tunes in lights, lasers and thundering cannons. The evening will close with Tchaikovsky's show-stopping 1812 Overture.

This will change the way that you experience classical music forever.

The music will be performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Choral Society (Thu, Sat) and London Philharmonic Choir (Fri, Sun). It will be conducted by John Rigby.

The London Philharmonic is one of the leading independent choirs in the country, working closely with the London Philharmonic Orchestra. With 200+ members ranging from bass, tenor, alto and soprano, the choir has a wide repertoire of choral styles.

The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) was founded by Thomas Beecham in 1946. Subsequent principal conductors have included the great André Previn and Vladimir Ashkenazy.
