Carmina Burana

"Carmina Burana" returns to the Royal Albert Hall in what promises to be a rousing and memorable night.

The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Choral Society, Highgate Choral Society and English Concert Chorus will be joining forces with the London Chorus and Southend Boys' Choir to sing Carl Orff's Carmina Burana -- giving a combined total of over 400 voices!

Christopher Warren-Green will be conducting.

The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) was founded by Thomas Beecham in 1946. Subsequent principal conductors have included the great André Previn and Vladimir Ashkenazy.
