For a guy who was in Dr Feelgood, Wilko Johnson must have thought the universe was having a joke on him when another doctor gave him the dreaded news that he had the Big C.
Well, that was five years ago and he's still feeling good, so it looks like he's doing all right. Now he's promising to throw his own party at the Royal Albert Hall to celebrate his 70th birthday and 30th anniversary of his band, alongside his family, friends, some special guests, and his old partners in crime Norman Watt-Roy and Dylan Howe.
P.S.: Did you know that Wilko appeared in Game of Thrones for a few episodes? Apparently he played a mute executioner.
