Proms Concert #55 will explore the classical music of India and Pakistan.

The music will be performed by Pandit Budhaditya Mukherjee (sitar), Soumen Nandy (tabla), Kumaresh Rajagopalan (Carnatic violin), Jayanthi Kumaresh (Saraswati veena), Anantha R Krishnan (mridangam), plus Fareed Ayaz and Abu Muhammad Qawwal.
