Proms concert #56 will see Jakub Hrusa conducting the BBC Singers and BBC Symphony Orchestra in a selection of classical works by Smetana, Martinu, Dvorak, Janacek and Suk.

As well as working closely with the BBC, the BBC Symphony Orchestra plays regular concerts at the Barbican and is the principal orchestra of world-famous Proms Concerts, giving around a dozen performances each year, including the prestigious First and Last Nights.
