Proms concert #48 will see Sofi Jeannin leading the BBC Singers and City of London Sinfonia through five centuries of Western music, telling the story of the Passion as you've never heard it told before.

It will start with the earliest-known setting by Johann Walter, and continue through the music of Schutz, Bach, Handel, Mendelssohn and Stainer, right up to contemporary pieces by the likes of Sir James MacMillan.
