Grease

What could be nicer than spending a summer evening under the stars, watching a blockbuster movie on a big screen in Kew Gardens? The screen will be situated on the big lawn in front of Kew Palace. (Let's just hope that it doesn't rain, because they usually go ahead and show it anyway!)

Tonight's movie will be Grease (PG, 105mins) starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John, plus a lot of greasy-haired bikers. You might want to buy the soundtrack beforehand, though, because this is being advertised as a sing-a-long night, so expect everyone in the audience to be standing up and belting out the tunes.

Note: There is limited seating capacity so advanced booking is recommended. You need to bring your own blanket to sit on (or you can order one when booking the tickets). Premium tickets come with a complimentary drink at the bar and a decent seating position. Bear in mind that screenings usually go ahead in bad weather -- so be prepared for a bit of drizzle and cold.
