Craig’ London blog> Craig’s Museum of London review  I’ve written a review and posted some photos on my blog

Enjoy a short tour around what remains of the western gate of London's Roman military fort (close to the Museum of London).

The fort once stood in the north-west corner of a huge wall that surrounded Londinium around 200 AD, and was re-discovered in 1956.

Note: Due to the terrain this tour is not suitable for wheelchair users.

If you like Roman London then you might want to try the visiting the Guildhall Art Gallery as well, which houses the remains of the Roman amphitheatre in the basement. Have a read of Craig's review to see what it's like. You might be interested in his review of Billingsgate Roman Bath House as well. There's another piece of Roman pavement under All-Hallows-by-the-Tower church.
