It's summer... you want to take your missus to a romantic movie... but you don't fancy sitting indoors next to someone crunching on a bucket of popcorn all night. So what can you do?
How about watching Baz Luhrmann's modern take on Shakespeare'sRomeo and Juliet? That's the one with Leonardo DiCaprio and Clare Danes in the lead roles. And here's the best news: it's taking place at Westminster Abbey!
Well... that's what it's advertised as, but it's actually being screened round the side of Westminster Abbey in Dean's Yard. But it's still a very pretty place to watch a movie, with the Abbey towering up behind you.
Note: There is limited seating capacity so advanced booking is recommended. You need to bring your own blanket to sit on (or you can order one when booking the tickets). Premium tickets come with a complimentary drink at the bar and a decent seating position. Bear in mind that screenings usually go ahead in bad weather -- so be prepared for a bit of drizzle and cold. (This is London, after all, and August is no guarantee of warm weather!)
