The Old Vic has landed the world premiere of Conor McPherson's new play Girl From the North Country, using the music of Bob Dylan.

It's set in Minnesota, in the midst of the Great Depression, and the future of a family's lonely guesthouse is on a knife edge. Nick owes more money than he can ever hope to repay, his wife is slowly losing her mind, his kid needs feeding, but he believes he's found a way out...

Two more people have arrived: a preacher selling bibles and a boxer hoping for a comeback fight, but it's not long before things start to spiral out of Nick's control.
